BRUNIDO Burnished Clay Pot and Spoon Set
The BRUNIDO Burnished Clay Pot and Spoon Set is a collaborative effort between two women artisans, based in Puebla and Oaxaca.
These tiny pots can be used together with the spoon for condiments, or without the spoon as an espresso or sake cup.

Mexico
The BRUNIDO Burnished Clay Pot and Spoon set is handcrafted by a master artisan who learnt her technique in Puebla, Mexico. She uses a simple wheel to form the clay by hand, before applying a type of river mud on the exterior which produces a sublime blush tone. After a vigorous stone burnish, these pieces are slowly pit fired over the span of four hours. The spoon is made from barro rojo, with texture and polish added through the use of corn husks, stones and coconut shells. The pottery is then pit fired for roughly one hour.
