BOMAKI Scarf in Royal Purple
The silk scarf features thin yet strong organza silk. Kandal is one of the few places on earth where you can find handwoven silk of such translucence and smoothness.
Made by Japanese-influenced Bomaki dyeing techniques, the silk fabric is first hand-tied and then soaked in AZO-free dye for two hours.

Kandal, Cambodia
The BOMAKI Scarf is fully handmade by collaborative efforts of artisans in Kandal. The weavers of the silk fabric come from a village where the craft has been passed down since the 13th century. The dye artisans learnt their skills from their hometown in Takoe, before imparting them to other women in Kandal.
