Handcrafted by an Afghan artisan in the old city of Kabul, supported by an international non-profit based in Afghanistan. Each piece represents the strength, resilience, and creativity of its maker. Pictured here — an artisan practices lapidary, the ancient art of gem cutting. Afghanistan has a long history of lapidary due to the abundance of stones found in the Bamiyan Valley. With vibrant lapis lazuli and malachite stones, the Aziz Collection showcases this traditional technique in contemporary, timeless jewellery.
