Sparkling Drop Earrings
Statement drop earrings with lovely lapis lazuli accents.
Inspired by poet Saib-e-Tabrizi who wrote about the beauty of Kabul, whose poetry is still recited in the Afghan capital today:
"I sing bright praises to her colorful tulips,
The beauty of her trees makes me blush.
How sparkling the water flows from Pul-i-Mastaan!
May Allah protect such beauty from the evil eye of man!
Khizr chose Kabul over Paradise,
For her mountains brought him near to heaven’s delights."
Materials: Lapis lazuli, with a gold-plated brass body and chain. Lead & nickel free.
Dimensions: 6.8 x 1 cm.
Please keep in a dry and cool place away from moisture and direct sunlight. To polish your artisan's craft, use a wedge of lemon, and polish along the tarnished surface with a small cotton towel.
