POLARIS Tealight Holder in Brass
The POLARIS Tealight Holder is created by a Syrian artisan in Jordan. It features a cut-out motif of Polaris, otherwise known as the North Star, masterfully made in brass and finished with a matte lacquer.
Our non-profit partner Turquoise Mountain is working in Jordan to connect Syrian and other artisans from across the Levant to global markets, helping to create sustainable incomes for producers and preserve their craft traditions.
Materials: Brass, with a matte lacquer finishing.
Dimensions: 8.5cm x 8.5cm.
As they are individually made by hand, there may be some variations in pattern and size. No two pieces are exactly the same. Fits a standard size tealight, candles not included.
Brass may tarnish with oxidation and exposure to moisture. To polish, simply use a wedge of lemon and wipe along the surface with a small cotton towel.
